Objective and Self-reported Assessment of Physical Activity of Women over 60 Years Old

Abstract The aim of the study was to examine changes in objective and self-reported physical activity (PA) among women aged 60 years older. included 200 over years, divided into three groups according age (60–65 66–70 > 70 years). subjective assessment provided with International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) – short version PA assessment, data by an Actigraph GT3-BT worn for seven days. Significant differences moderate high intensity PA, moderate-to-vigorous steps per day were found between oldest youngest groups; as well low, moderate, middle oldest. In all groups, 1) significant observed measurements 2) no correlation measures. It that only direct measurement declined old, sedentary behavior is underestimated, vigorous overestimated, IPAQ.
